Read Across America Week

It’s Read Across America Week!

Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

This is a week at South Hamilton Elementary students and staff look forward to and the kids celebrate each day with a special book-themed day.

Monday – “The Cat In The Hat” – wear your favorite hat!

Tuesday – “My Many Colored Days” – wear your class color.

Wednesday – “Wacky Wednesday” – wear your hair as wacky as you can!

Thursday – “The Lorax” – school-wide recycle day.

Friday – “Happy Birthday To You” – Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a read and feed!
