5th Grade Flag Pole Tribute Project
Fifth graders ended their school year with a National Geographic Geo-Inquiry Project during Social Studies with Julie Ullestad and Cathy Stakey. They took on the roles of expert geographers, economists, historians, political scientists, and media teams, to create a tribute project that honors the South Hamilton area first responders and veterans. Brooklyn Doolittle, Karlie Hill, Arynn Luppes, Emma Martin, and Kayley Zanker attended the June school board meeting to publicly dedicate the flagpole project located in front of the MS/HS building. The fifth graders would like to thank Mark Scheller, Director of Building and Grounds; Chris Entner, Industrial Technology Teacher; and several other South Hamilton staff members for their help with this project.
