The Music Boosters help support the South Hamilton Music Department and our students.
We hold two major fundraisers a year: Red Wheel Frozen Food Sales in the fall and the South Hamilton DodgeBall Tournament in December. In addition, after each Middle School and High School concert, we provide a small reception with drinks and baked goods, generously donated by Band and Choir parents.
The funds raised from these activities go toward, equipment, instruments, sheet music, repairs, concert receptions, Senior reception, student recognition, uniforms, choir robes, concert attire, the high school band/choir Chicago Trip (every four years), the middle school Valley Fair Amusement Park trip-every two years.
This year we are adding a third fundraiser, a meal prior to a basketball game, to coincide with the Alumni Pep Band Night.
Music Boosters meet once a month during the school year.
We welcome anyone who would like to attend our meetings. It would be best, however, to contact a music booster to confirm the date and time. Due to the number of members in our group and the busy schedules we all have, our meeting days vary from month to month.
