Congratulations to the girls’ golf team on their 5th place finish at the West Marshall Tournament. Special congrats to 6th place medalist Krista Swenson and 9th place medalist Katelyn Sogard. Nice job ladies!

Congratulations to our boys golf team for their wins over West Marshall and Roland Story yesterday! Congratulations to Trevor Lammers on being the meet medalist.

Congratulations to the junior high boys and girls track teams on their meet last night! There were some great performances for both boys and girls. An additional congratulations to the girls 4×100 team on breaking the junior high girls track record by running 0:55.02. Team members are: Makena Galetich, Zoey Duns, Tanna Thompson, and Kate Barkema. Great job to all Hawks!

There will be a student council meeting today during A lunch in the upstairs conference room.

Students that were unable to attend college planning and financial aid presentations last night are welcome to pick up materials from Mrs. Gelder.  There is also a pre-recorded presentation that parents and students may watch on ICAN’s website:

ANY student that is wishing to take ANY Iowa Central course must attend a meeting tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. In the Auditorium. Please enter through the Atrium doors.

Colette Bertran, director of Iowa Central’s Webster City’s campus, will be here to present about the changes to Iowa Central courses and potential benefits and consequences.  A parent and student must attend and sign a waiver to take ANY Iowa Central class next year. If there is a conflict, see Mrs. Gelder.

Any Senior student from Ellsworth that would like to help with the Easter Egg Hunt this  Saturday should contact Marcy Olson or meet at the Ellsworth Park by 8:45. This would qualify for community service on the Ellsworth Community Scholarship application. This scholarship application is available at the Guidance office.

Join us for the 2019-2020 cheer season! Varsity Football cheer and Varsity Basketball cheer will be hosting its tryouts on May 16th. Sign up in the office and join us May 13 and 14th for mandatory tryout practices.

Students, if you are taking a non-South Hamilton Jr or Sr to prom this year please plan on picking up a dance request form from Tara in the high school office.  Forms are due by Wednesday next week.
