Letter from Dr. Howard, April 16, 2020

We all realize that this is an extremely turbulent time in our collective history; a trying period we did not see coming — and one that we do not care to experience again. COVID-19 has forced us to change almost everything we do in some manner or another … including how we “do school.” Our teaching and learning are now virtual; but not any less important.

While academics are very important for our students, we don’t want this to become added stress for you and your family. This means the learning options are available but not required for students to participate. Per the Department of Education, this option will count as instruction and no days through April 30th will need to be made up.

Our hope is to return to our buildings soon; however, do know the South Hamilton educational staff has created a plan to provide high-quality learning — just as we always do — and highly recommend doing something daily.

Regards,

Dr. Howard
