Welcome to education at South Hamilton CSD
The South Hamilton Community School District has a stable student enrollment of approximately 740 students. About 52 teachers, three administrators, and numerous support staff serve a student population from the communities and surrounding areas of Randall, Stanhope, Ellsworth and Jewell, Iowa. At South Hamilton Schools, all stakeholders share a universal commitment to strive for excellence in all district academic and extra-curricular activities to enable all students to reach their full potential.

District-wide One to One Program
South Hamilton has been a 1:1 technology school since the fall of 2009. With technical support from a full-time Technology Director, each student in grades Prep-K through 12th grade has access to a school-provided device. In grades Prep-K through 1st grade, students have their own Chrome flipbook that stays in the classroom with them. Grades 2-6 have Chromebooks that remain at school. In grades 7 through 12, students have Chromebooks that they personally possess during the school year.
